    What is Lead Deduplication?

Lead deduplication detects when a new inquiry matches an existing lead, customer, or job — and merges or links instead of creating a duplicate. URBLD runs server-side fuzzy matching on phone, email, name, and address so the same person never spawns three records across SMS, ads, and calls.

Why do duplicates happen in the first place?

A customer texts from a new number, fills out an ad form weeks later, then calls the receptionist. Without dedupe, that's three records — three histories, three follow-up sequences, three confused reps.

    How does URBLD detect duplicates?

A server-side fuzzy match scans phone, email, name, address, and conversation context. High-confidence matches auto-link; ambiguous matches surface in the Qualification Inbox for one-click merge.

    What happens after a merge?

Conversations, files, payments, and AI actions from both records collapse onto the surviving record. The lifecycle ID and audit trail preserve full lineage.
