How this calculator works
Daily labor = crew size × burdened rate × hours per day. Use fully-burdened rate (wage + taxes + comp + insurance + benefits) — not base wage.
Daily overhead = vehicle allocation + fuel + equipment depreciation + other daily expenses. Vehicle allocation = (annual truck cost) ÷ (working days per year).
Total daily cost = daily labor + daily overhead. Divide by crew size for per-person all-in daily cost.
